When we shine we Lighten the world, When we think we Turn the world, When we stand we rule the world, We are Kings...…Mechanical Engineers!

Mechanical Engineering Department is a discipline of Engineering that applies the principles of Engineering ,Physics, and Materials Science for analysis, design, manufacturing and maintainance of mechanical system. It is the branch of engineers that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design , production and opearation of machines and tools. It is the one of the oldest and broadcast engineering discipline.

The engineering field requires an understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics , thermodynamics, materials science , structural analysis and electricity. Mechanical Engineers use core principles along with tools like computer-aided engineering and product lifecycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants , industrial equipment and machinary , heating and cooling systems , transport systems , aircraft , watercraft, robotics , medical devices , weapons , etc.The field has evolved to incorporate advancements in technology and mecanical engineers today are pursing developments in fields such as Composites , Mechatronics and Nanotechnology.

Mechanical Engineering overlaps with Aerospace Engineering , Metallurgical Engineering , Civil Engineering , Electrical , Petrolium Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering , Chemical Engineering and other engineering disciplines to varrying amounts.Mechanical Engineers may also work in the field of Bio Medical Engineering ,Specifically with Biomechanics,Transport Phenomena,Bio-Mechatronics , Bio-Nanotechnology and modeling of Biological System like soft tissue mechanics.

Vision

In order to rebuild the world, we need to deal with moving systems. It's an area in which mechanical engineers are the best-trained for. Mechanical engineering defines engineering, it is a classic stream and there will always be a demand for classics.SES wants to make it is as broad-based discipline. Mechanical engineering is a huge subject area, with skills that can be equally applied in so many different areas.Mechanical department of SEC prepares students as credible technocrats with the help of latest technological advancement through research and development.Mechanical engineering is a huge subject area, with skills that can be equally applied in so many different areas. Also SCI empowers multidisciplinary partnership will help build a sustainable pipeline of skilled graduates to address the local demands, while also providing students with well-paid, rewarding jobs in national and global market.
